Food & Drink
Swayed by Greek and Turkish cuisine, traditional Cypriot food consists of grilled meats, stuffed peppers, stuffed vine leaves and mezes. Home to the famous Halloumi cheese, Cyprus knows how to make tasty dishes. Simple yet delicious, fried courgettes with scrambled eggs is one of the most popular Cypriot dishes in local restaurants. Meat eaters will appreciate koubes, a croquette-style bite made from bulgur and filled with spiced mince meat, tasty.

Culture
Art enthusiasts will appreciate the Limassol Sculpture Park, filled with intriguing creations to give you a dose of the local culture. Filled with history, the Limassol Castle and Gothic Capital are landmarks to keep your eye out for, with the castle dating back to the 16th Century and the Gothic Capital all the way back to 13th Century A.D. Also, if you’re lucky enough to be travelling to Limassol early in the year, look out for the Limassol Carnival, which is usually an 11 day celebration filled with shows and parades and takes place just before the Christian Lenten period.

Whether you’re idea of a night out is a quiet glass of wine or you’re looking to dance until the early hours, Limassol’s nightlife is accommodating to all.
